Dunscroft - Another one BIKES the dust!

Doncaster East NPT saw this bike being ridden illegally along Station Road, Dunscroft on Wednesday evening. The rider did not want to stop and talk to Officers for some reason and decided to make good his escape.

The rider ignored the pursuing Police car with its blue lights and siren blaring.

I quick right turn onto Broadway and a the rider showed a complete disregard to the very conservative 20mph speed limit attempting to disappear into the distance.

Officers maintained eye contact on the bike and were able to follow the bike as it was ridden dangerously around the area and taking to open fields.

After a while the rider took a chance and travelled down St Lawrence road, with the intention of entering the farmers fields. It was at this point the inexperience of the rider was highlighted as he lost control of the bike on the uneven terrain and decided to leg it from the persistent Pursuing Police Officers.

Within a few seconds the bike and the rider were under Police control.

The bike has been seized and the rider will be processed for numerous driving offences including Dangerous driving, No Licence and No insurance. 

We are more than aware of the ongoing issue of the illegal use of Motorbikes in the area and we will continue to tackle the issue using a variety of tactical options.
